‘Welcome to Arverne’ Says New Sign


A brand new sign welcoming people to Arverne was erected on Beach 75 Street and Beach Channel Drive last week. Credit is due to the Arverne Action Association, State Senator Malcolm A. Smith and the Gallub family, owners of T&M Auto Parts. “It behooves us to have a sign of good taste to say welcome,” said Barbara Hillary, Arverne Action Association President.
