A few words about the reception and barbeque for “Perfect 10” on August 8. Thank yous go to many, who gave generously of their time to make this such a great day. Providing all the terrific music were TK Kearney, Guy Nevirs, Friends in Harmony, T-7 Band and Fund Us with Dan Marston and Apryl Green and Joanne Marnick. Dan Guarino read his moving poetry. Big thanks to: Karen McCallion for coming in at the last minute to do her usual brilliant job with the refreshments; Apryl Green and Jan Nebozenko for sound; Kevin Callaghan for his barbeque artistry; Norma Allende, Janet Dever, Martha Killian, Geoff Rawling, Roger Carreau for mounting and organizing the exhibit and the days events. Congratulations to Jim and Martha Killian who celebrated their 40th anniversary on that day. Special thanks to Geoff and all those who made this such a fitting tribute to Izabella Slobodoff, to whom this exhibition was dedicated. It was officially announced that the RAA sculpture garden will be named for Izabella. We were very happy that her family was able to join us on this bittersweet day of celebration and of remembering one of the most loved and respected members of the RAA family.

ARTSPLASH is coming October 2-November 7. FRAME arrives September 26. Stay tuned!
