What happened to the rain?  Another warm but humid day at Riis Park July 8 occurred with many of our gals out for a day of fun.  Again we ask all members to gather at the Catholic Club for lunch and social after the game.  Who knows you may be the winner of the 50/50 of coarse thats if you buy a ticket for $1.00!  Next weeks write-up will be the winners of the Dolls and Guys Tournament.

Top scores for the day were: Doris Neimeth-60, Peg Ansbro-62 with a chip-in on 8 and a birdie on 5, Gail Clifford-65 with a birdie on 5, Terry Gearity, Susan Ryan and Eileen Watson-68, with Susan having a birdie on 10, Bunny GaNun-69.  Gals in the 70’s, Pam Armour-70, Nancy Heffernan, Betty Weed and Mary Ellen Hogan-71, Kay Miller-73 with a birdie on 6, Dottie Dunne and Pat Powers-74, Pat Livingstone, Meg Ferrick and Mildred Seligman-75, Mary O’Rourke-76 with birdies on 2 & 9, Marge O’Leary, Betty Monahan, Tina Spina and Pat Disch-77 with Betty having a chip-in on 4 and birdie on 2, Bernice Carroll-78, Marilyn Higgins-79.  Bea Sharrock had a chip-in on 16 and Lil Hanratty and a birdie on 10.  Be Good, Be Brave, Be Honest and Love Your Neighbor.
