In early March, a Catholic Priest was stabbed and the Grand Marshal for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade was shot. Both crimes took place in one evening at the Beach Club on Beach 116 Street. Police responding to the crime, with the help of those at the catering hall that night, quickly solved the crimes.

It was one of the female police officers that committed both crimes.

Why?

Who shot the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Grand Marshal? You had to be there to enjoy the show.Who shot the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Grand Marshal? You had to be there to enjoy the show.

It was all for fun.

The crimes were part of the Killing Kompany’s repertoire of comic shows, designed to keep diners in the loop and having fun.

Now, the Killing Kompany will be presenting another murder mystery at the Beach Club, this one called "Death By Disco," which will be presented on July 23.

The trick to the evening is that the actors are interspersed among those who paid for dinner and a show. Although some of them are famous television actors, it is hard to distinguish them from the Rockaway residents at least until the action begins.

And, at any time, those enjoying their dinners can become part of the show as suspects in the crime or simply as eyewitnesses.

At the end of the show, diners get to solve the crime and prizes are given to those who arrest the right perp.
