On Monday June 28, several local students received opportunities that are unfortunately scarce in our community. Samario Hardy, Taariq Gould, and Sasha Hutchinson (not pictured) received an all expense paid trip out of the city to attend the Department of Environmental Conservation Pack Forest Camp that was presented by Patricia Rubens, Chief of Staff to Senator Malcolm A. Smith. Gerald Romsky of Beechwood Development has sponsored the roundtrip transportation (Pictured, left). The camp will be in session for one week, July 4 through July 10, in Warrensburg, NY. Camp Forest includes fishing, archery, hiking, and many more activities geared to stimulate the camper’s interest in natural resources. On Monday June 28, several local students received opportunities that are unfortunately scarce in our community.
