Pheffer Honored By Motorcycle Association

Assemblywoman Audrey Pheffer (center) was one of only two state legislators honored by the American Motorcycle Association (AMA) District Three at the organization’s annual banquet in Climax, New York. At the dinner, the AMA offered their thanks to Pheffer for sponsoring the "Lemon Law" that protected bikers when the bought new or used motorcycles.

"This is a very meaningful law that will affect the thousands of men and women who will buy motorcycles in the future," said Larry Schwartz, the local president of the AMA’s District # 3.

"I didn’t think that it was fair that other motor vehicles were offered protection, but motorcycles were not," Pheffer said. "I fought to bring that protection to motorcycles."
