Brooklyn To Breezy Bike Tour Set

The National Park Service is offering a ranger-guided bike tour from Plumb Beach in Brooklyn to Breezy Point on Sunday, June 19 at 9:30 a.m. The tour will offer the public an opportunity to learn about the natural, cultural and recreational resources of Jamaica Bay while bicycling.

The program is free but reservations are required. To reserve your spot for the event, call the Floyd Bennett Field Contact Station at 718-338-3799. Participants must provide their own bicycles and safety equipment. Bikers are encouraged to bring water, sun/insect protection and a snack.

The meeting location for the program is the Plumb Beach Round House, located adjacent to the eastbound Belt Parkway, and just east of the Emmons Avenue/ Knapp Street entrance to the parkway.
