Correction! June 25 is the submission deadline for "A Perfect 10: An Anniversary Member Exhibition" and for "In and Around: An Exhibition of 3-D Works." Last week I incorrectly stated in the column that the deadline was June 18. WRONG.

"A Perfect 10" marks the 10th anniversary of the Rockaway Artists Alliance. To celebrate this, RAA presents this juried exhibition of member original works. Visual, literary and performing artists of all media are invited to participate. Works may include, but are not limited to: painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, literary works, ceramics, video, dance and music. The exhibit begins August 1. Log onto www.rockawayartistsallian ce.org for downloadable and printable prospectus and entry form.

"In and Around" also begins August 1 and will be displayed in sTudio 7 and the surrounding outdoor area. You can download and print the prospectus and entry form for "I & A," as well, from the website.

If you have any questions, please contact the RAA office.

Thanks to all who worked so hard to make last week’s reception for "Emerging" and "Dialogue with Nature" a success. They include Norma Allende, Janet Dever, Martha Killian, Geoff Rawling and Christina Saquiz. (My apologies to anyone I neglected to mention.) Thank you to the entertainers, Melissa Biffer, Apryl Green, Joanne Marnick, Danny Marston and to Denis Macrae for reading his haiku poems. And thanks to all who attended. "Emerging" continues through June 27 and "Dialogue with Nature" runs through July 3. Admission is free. Gallery hours are Saturdays 12-5 p.m. and Sundays 1-4 p.m.

Queens Council on the Arts has listed dates for the remaining application workshops for the 2005 Queens Community Arts Fund (QCAF). Thursday, July 29 a workshop will be held for organizations at LaGuardia Community College Little Theatre, 31-10 Thomson Avenue in Long Island City from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. All right, my children. This is your Mother Superior speaking: This is the final weekend to see the Rockaway Theatre Company’s production of "Nunsense" at the Post Theater, Fort Tilden. Be advised that you will be blessed many times over for attending, no matter what your religious persuasion, or lack thereof (God forbid!). Performances are Thursday, June 17, Friday, June 18 and Saturday, June 19 at 8 PM. Call the RTC Hotline for details and to reserve tickets. 718 850-2450. RTC’s next production will be "The King and I," but we can talk about that later.
