PS 114 Students Visit NYC Apple Store

The excited, yet technologically proficient, P.S. 114 students recently arrived at the NYC Apple Store’s 2nd floor APPLE THEATRE, via a school-hired bus, along with their families, to showcase our School’s *TECHIE* students’ computer wonders that they conceived and executed in our P.S. 114’s mobile APPLE technology laboratory.

Hosted by P.S. 114’s Webmaster and Computer Teacher Ron Gerson, Apple Night II was truly savored by all, including the School Administrators, Principal Brian R. O’Connell and Assistant Principal Janet M. Donohue, PTA members and their families, Apple Store shoppers, and Region 5 Lead Technology Instructor, Hank Iori.

According to Gerson, "One of our Power Point Presentations, "A Tribute to an Accomplished Woman," in honor of "March:  Women’s Month," was a slide-show dedicated to our very own Instructional Region 5 Superintendent, Dr. Kathleen M. Cashin!"

P.S. 114 Principal O’Connell marvelled at what the students have technologically accomplished. leading our Belle Harbor School Webmaster, Ron Gerson, to begin thinking of ways to top this year’s APPLE NIGHT, come May, 2005, when he produces P.S. 114’s *APPLE NIGHT III.
