Brooklyn Civil Air Patrol Seeks Rockaway Volunteers

The Floyd Bennett Composite Squadron, a component of the United States Air Force Auxiliary-Civil Air Patrol (New York City Group) (CAP), is searching for new senior and cadet members. The Squadron has an office in the Armed Forces Reserve Center in Floyd Bennett Field, Brooklyn, NY, and meets currently on the 1st, 3rd, and 4th Wednesday of the month at Floyd Bennett Field.

On the first Wednesday of the month, the Squadron meets at the New York City Police Department Special Operations Division, first floor Training Room, and, on the third and fourth Wednesday, at the office in the Armed Forces Reserve Center, 2nd Floor. This schedule may change for July and August. Cadet membership is open to youth who are 12 years old at the time of joining. Senior membership is open to individuals starting at 19 years of age.
