Far Rockaway Man Killed On Job At JFK

Port Authority Police at JFK International Airport are investigating what a spokesman called a "horrible accident" after 20-year-old terminal worker Emond Finn, a Far Rockaway resident, was killed when he was struck by a tug, a motorized vehicle used to move baggage or taxi airplanes, last Thursday afternoon. Finn, an employee of Globe Ground, died at Jamaica Hospital of multiple blunt trauma. His family, who said they suspect negligence, have retained the legal services of the Cochran Firm. More than 400 people were expected to attend the funeral services for Finn, who would have returned to Fulton-Montgomery Community College on a basketball scholarship in the fall.
