With spring in the air, crowds of fans lined up at KeySpan Park in Coney Island when the Brooklyn Cyclones put single game tickets on sale to the public. To date, the Cyclones have sold approximately 80% of their season capacity. Great seats are still available for fans looking for some summertime fun.

Sandy the Seagull kept everyone waiting in line entertained with trivia contests and prizes. King Henry and two clowns played with the kids and painted their faces. Giveaways were also handed out to fans on line.

"Cyclones fans are really excited for our fourth season to start," said Steve Cohen, General Manager of the Brooklyn Cyclones. "For the first time we are happy to reserve five hundred tickets for day of game sales to accommodate fans unable to purchase tickets in advance."

The Cyclones will begin selling tickets through the team’s website, www. brooklyncyclones.com, as well as through the Shea Stadium box office today. Non-refundable service charges will apply for all phone and internet orders.  Season tickets, group and mini plans are still available. For the best seating in the house and a splurge, there is always the party deck.

The Brooklyn Cyclones are the Class-A affiliate of the New York Mets.  The team plays its home games at KeySpan Park, the 7,500-seat stadium in Coney Island. Box office hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Ticket information is available by calling 718-449-TIXS.
