Selena Antoinette Bailey
Home Health Aide

Selena Antoinette Bailey, a Far Rockaway resident for 10 years, died on April 15. She was 23.

Bailey, who was born in Far Rockaway, worked as a home health aide.

She is survived by a daughter, Keyara; parents, Lesia and Edward Bailey; siblings, Damon and Anfernee and Dalona; grandmother, Geraldine Lewis; great aunts, Margaret Brown, Judith Johnson and JoAnn Glenn; great uncle, William Gelnn; aunts, Judy Lewis, Valerie Lewis, Nadine, Sonia and Mandy Bailey, Yvette Graves, Theodocia Boney, Nicole Boney and Darlene Felder; uncles, Walter Brown, Michael Bailey and Joseph and Jermaine Lewis; and other family and friends.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney's Funeral Home, with a service at Gaffney's Friendship Chapel. Disposition was at Forest Park Cemetery, Morganville, New Jersey.

Vera Duffy
Longtime Resident

Vera (Nee Cunningham) Duffy, a longtime Rockaway Beach resident, died on April 22.

Duffy, who was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and a parishioner at St. Rose of Lima, was a homemaker.

Duffy was preceded in death by her brother, Bernard Cunningham.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Duffy; sons, Charles and Kenneth Duffy; and sister, Maureen O'Malley.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday and Sunday, April 24 and 25, from 2-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Rose of Lima, on Monday at 9:45 a.m.

Stephen Kenneth Johnson
Construction Worker

Stephen Kenneth Johnson, a Rockaway resident for nearly 15 years, died on April 18. He was 56.

Johnson, who was born in Queens, was a construction worker.

He is survived by his children, Shanese, Tyshawn, Nikki, Veronica, Shalisa, Stephanie, Alicia and Falencia; mother, Renner Johnson; siblings, Dora McEachon, Carrie Styles, Lorraine Campbell, Juliet Reeder, Roberta Manning, Robert and Willie; and other family and friends.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney's Funeral Home, with a service at Gaffney's Friendship Chapel. Disposition was at Johner Cemetery, Eutawville, South Carolina.

Josephine Kellner
Hairdresser

Josephine Kellner, a Rockaway Park resident for 45 years, died on April 19.

Kellner, who was born in New York, N.Y., was a parishioner at St. Camillus Church. She worked as a hairdresser at a beauty salon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Karl Kellner.

Kellner was survived by her longtime friend and legal guardian, Thomas Kelly.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 23, from 2-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Camillus Church on Saturday at 9:45 a.m.

Eileen A. McCullagh
Irving Trust Bank Employee

Eileen A. McCullagh, a Belle Harbor resident for nearly 55 years, died on April 21.

McCullagh, who was born in Brooklyn, was a parishioner at St. Francis de Sales, and was a former employee of Irving Trust Bank.

She was preceded in death by her father, John McCullagh; mother, Mary Slevin McCullagh; and brother, John McCullagh.

McCullagh is survived by her sisters, Kathleen and Mary J. McCullagh; and a brother, William McCullagh.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 23, from 2-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Francis de Sales, on Sat., at 9:45 a.m.
