The Whispers, a talented group of vocalist has produced hits since 1962. In the seventies, they produced the R&B hit, "One for the Money (Part 1). In 1987 "Rock Steady" written and produced by L.A. Reid and Babyface was their biggest pop hit of all time. Most recently their hits consist of "My Heart, Your Heart" which was #4 on the R& B chart in 1990 and "Innocent" which took #3. These successful artists have powerful voices that come together in amazing harmonies.
The Dramatics are a soul vocal group from Detroit that rode the national airwaves in the 1970s beginning with their gold single, "Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get." The album of the same name brought them two more hits, "Get Up and Get Down" and the melancholy number one R&B hit, "In the Rain." In 1975 they topped the charts again with a live recording of "Me and Mrs. Jones."
Ray, Goodman & Brown first formed in the early seventies and released several hit records as The Moments. After making their name change in 1978, Harry Ray, Al Goodman, and Billy Brown scored several major radio staples, including "Special Lady", "Inside of You", and "Take It To The Limit". The trio also sang backup on Sarah Dash’s 1988 album "You’re All I Need". Expect to hear some tight-knit harmonies amongst Ray’s feather-light tenor, Goodman’s sharp baritone, and Brown’s gospel-influenced, energetic leads.
