Cyclones Tickets Go On Sale April 25

Cyclones Tickets Go On Sale April 25

Opening Day and other single game tickets for the Brooklyn Cyclones’ 2004 season will go on sale at 9 a.m. on Sunday, April 25.

Fans can get their tickets in person at KeySpan Park or by calling the Shea Stadium box office at 718-507-TIXX (8499). For the fourth straight year, the Cyclones anticipate that fans will flock to the ballpark in hope of buying one of the hottest tickets in town.

Ticket pricing for the 2004 season will be $10, $12 and $5 for bleacher seats. The Cyclones are replacing the bleacher seats in sections 17-24 with bucket seats making the whole "bowl" either Field Box or Box Seats. The outfield bleacher seats will remain the same.

The Cyclones expect their 2004 home opener against the Hudson Valley Renegades on June 22 to sell out quickly. Fans will be limited to eight tickets per person for the Opening Day game. In addition, promotional nights such as Ladies Night and One Millionth Fan Night are sure to be popular games.

"With the Major League season starting up, fans are hungry for baseball. We anticipate our fans will show up in large numbers when tickets go on sale," said Steve Cohen, General Manager of the Brooklyn Cyclones.

"If our fans are interested in attending several games, we also encourage them to check out our mini-plan packages."

Due to popular demand, Cyclones have increased the number of seats they will reserve for day of game sales to 500 seats to accommodate fans who are unable to purchase tickets in advance.

Fans can also purchase tickets to New York Mets home games at the KeySpan Park box office. Non-refundable service charges will apply for all phone and internet orders.

The Brooklyn Cyclones will play 38 home games including six with the Staten Island Yankees. As in the past, weeknight games will start at 7 p.m., Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 5 p.m.

The schedule also includes day games on July 4 and July 14 to accommodate camps and senior groups. Those who are interested in seeing the full schedule visit the clones’ website.

The Brooklyn Cyclones are the Class-A affiliate of the New York Mets. The team plays its home games at KeySpan Park, the 7,500-seat stadium in Coney Island.

In 2003, the Brooklyn Cyclones completed an exciting season by playing in the league championship series. Box office hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Season tickets and mini-plans for 2004 are still available.

Ticket information is obtainable by calling 718-449-TIXS (8497), by visiting the team’s website at www. brooklyncyclones.com http://www .broo klyncyclones.com or by calling the Shea Stadium box office at 718-507-TIXX (8499).
