SJEH Purchases Two Passenger Vans


St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, South Shore, recently received a $60,000 grant from van Ameringen Foundation, Inc., for the purchase of two new passenger vans for use by the Department of Psychiatry and the Community Mental Health Center. The Psychiatry Department is responsible for a 43-bed inpatient psychiatry unit and a 34-bed chemical dependency unit. The Community Mental Health Center offers psychotherapy for individuals and families, as well as group therapy for anxiety management, parent training, depression and other conditions.
