Students Visit Madame Tussaud’s
M.S. 180 Forensics Coordinator El aine Green recently taught students how scientists could recreate a person’s identity from tissue samples and bones. At Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum, the concept of recreating a person’s identity becomes clear when a wax figure in a life like statue is be fore them. This gives students a clear picture of what scientists go though to recreate victims who have deteriorated over time. Reproduct ions at the Wax Museum are a perfect opportunity for identity analysis for students who rarely get a chance to view this avenue of investigative science.
