NYWBA Seeks Players For Summer League

The New York Women’s Baseball Association (NYWBA) is seeking female players of all experience levels and coaches to participate in it’s summer baseball league.

The NYWBA provides baseball instruction and competition for women and girls of all ages.A0Based in New York City, the league has players from the five boroughs, Long Island and Westchester. The league is seeking players to field teams for weekend games in the Metro NYC area.

"Our league is an excellent way for women and girls to participate in the game of baseball for fun and for competition," said Susan Winthrop, NYWBA co-founder and head coach.

The league, growing since its formation in 2001, held weekly games last summer and fielded teams in Westchester, Manhattan and Queens/Long Island.
