Rockaway Witnesses The Defeat Of The Pride

This past Saturday, members of the Rockaway Youth Lacrosse team, “The Urban Patriots” attended the Hofstra - John Hopkins game. For some, it was the first time at a college level sporting event. Hopkins walked over the Hofstra team in a stunning 13 to 6 victory, maintaining their No. 1 status. The team will continue to practice at P.S. 114 on Thursdays (5 to 7 p.m.) and will be in attendance at Lacrosse Day scheduled for March 20th at Beach Channel High School. So come down to the field and meet the players and witness our nations oldest team sport. This past Saturday, members of the Rockaway Youth Lacrosse team, “The Urban Patriots” attended the Hofstra - John Hopkins game.
