On Thursday, April 29 2004, Trinity Services will hold its second annual luncheon at Russo’s on the Bay located at 162-45 Cross Bay Boulevard in How ard Beach. Tickets are available at our office at (718) 474-1641. Tick ets cost $50.

The honorary chairpersons of our luncheon are Dr. Kathleen Cashin, New York City Department of Edu cation Regional Superintendent of Dis trict Five; Matilda Cuomo and Congressman Tom Manton.

Our effervescent and dynamic chairperson is Frances Abbracciamento. Frances invites all of you to join us at this gala event. This year’s luncheon promises to be a lively and enjoyable one. Frances predicts that the prizes will be spectacular.

Trinity Services is a comprehensive, community-based program designed for youngsters and older citizens in southwest Queens. It provides services for youth and seniors who live in a geographically isolated area. Trinity Ser vices promotes positive growth and development in a safe and secure environment. It expands the opportunity for youth and seniors to participate in a wide variety of activities, to share talents and experiences and to socialize. These activities empower youth and seniors to improve their lives, en ance their dignity, support their independence and encourage their involvement with the community. To accomplish these goals Trinity sponsors three programs: a transportation pro gram; an intergenerational after school program and an educational recreational program.

Trinity Services will hon or individuals who have contributed to our community and our city. This year Trinity is pleased to recognize Rabbi Allan Blaine—the spiritual leader of Temple Beth El. Rabbi Blaine is a religious leader with a keen intellect who is a noted scholar and an accomplished author. His writings are inspirational and informative. He reaches out to our entire community. At the luncheon Trinity will also honor: Commissioner Joel Miele, Chair person, Board of Directors, Pen in sula Hospital Center; Elizabeth Languilli, Executive Direc tor U.F.T. Leadership Institute; Fay Cohen, Hadassah Heart Luncheon Chair for 44 years; Mary Rooney, VP Com mun ity Federal Savings Bank; Robert Kane, Founder, Caffrey Conroy Learn ing Center; M/M Andrew McGee, Pres ident of Seabreeze Seniors; Sherry Bernstein, Director of Pre K, West End Temple; Neil Sheehan, Executive VP Outreach Project.

Please join us on Thursday, April 29th at 12 Noon at Russo’s on the Bay. Call our office at 718-474-1641 to ob tain tickets or ad blanks for our journal.

Raffle tickets are also available for $10 each. We are having a twin win raffle. Prizes include a $1000 prize for the winner and the seller of the winning ticket. There are 5 -$100 prizes. The bonus prize is a one week trip to Punta Cana, in the Dominican Re public with airfare and accommodations included. A limited number of tickets for the raffle will be sold.
