PHC Holds Successful Blood Drive
With blood in short supply, due to the Euro-blood no longer being available, more than 95 people participated in Peninsula Hospital Center’s blood drive. "We thank everyone who participated in our blood drive," said Allen B. Corby, Vice President of Oper ations at Peninsula Hospital Center. "As al ways, we greatly appreciate the help of Sara Berger and the Jewish War Veterans." Donors were comprised of employees, medical professionals, and members of the community.
The blood drive is held tri-annually at Peninsula Hospital Center by Long Island Blood Services. The next Blood Drive at Peninsula Hos pital Center will take place in July in the Medi tation Room of the Rehab ilitation Division.
