MLK Jr. Exhibition at York College

The Fifth Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Program and opening of the Black History Month Art, Memorabilia, Poetry and Quilting Exhibition Reception, hosted by The York College/ Community Commemorative Quilt Committee will be held on Sunday January 11 at 2 p.m. at York College Performing Arts Center.

This year’s program will feature the Rockaway Revue Dancers, the Men of Distinction and other well- known performers. Dr. Lindamichelle Baron, a noted poet, writer and professor at York College will be the Mistress of Ceremony.

The exhibit will include over 200 works of art from local and nationally known artists and exhibitors. The program is free and open to the public and the exhibition will run from January 11 though February 29.

The York College Performing Arts Center is located at 94-45 Guy R. Brewer Blvd.
