A Far Rockaway woman was reportedly kidnapped on Wednesday by her ex-boyfriend, who used a friend’s car-service taxi to spirit her away to a Nassau County motel.

According to Nassau County police sources, Latasha Scott, 20, was taken from Far Rockaway to Lynbrook by her ex-boyfriend, Rockaway resident Thomas Arkim, 20 and his friend, Timothy Brown.

Scott was forced into Brown’s car-service vehicle where he drove while Arkim took Scott’s jewelry.

At one point, Brown stopped at a hardware store and ran in to buy some duct tape to restrain Scott.

The duo took Scott to the Capri Motel in Lynbrook, where Arkim threatened to assault her and forced her into a motel room.

She broke free, however, and ran screaming to the manager’s office.

The manager called police, who caught the two men attempting to flee the motel in the car.

Arkim was charged in Nassau County court with kidnapping, robbery and criminal contempt for violating an order of protection that the New York City court system had provided for Scott against him. Brown was charged with kidnapping.

Nassau police spokesperson Detective Sergeant John Roden told New York Post reporter Kieran Crowley that the department was uncertain if Arkim was going to rape Scott in the motel room.

"At the least, there was going to be some sort of physical attack," he said. "Whether it was going to lead to rape or not, I don’t know."
