NY Sharks Continue Winning Ways Over Belles
     WR Liz Presto dives for the first down marker against the Belles. The NY Sharks won 48-0 over the Philadelphia Liberty Belles to improve to 2-0. New York Sharks WR Liz Presto (seated with football) received a gameball for her great catches and 55-yard touchdown run.

     Health Plus, the Police Athletic League and the City of New York’s Parks & Recreation Department have teamed up to present the 2003 Health Plus Citywide Youth Baseball League, a free program for boys and girls ages 5 to 12 and boys only ages 13-15.

Sorrentino Falls Short in Millenium Tourney
     The Parks & Recreation Millennium Basketball Tournament came to an early end for the 11-13 year old Sorrentino team as they lost by 10 points in the citywide semifinals to the team from Brooklyn after defeating the team from Staten Island by 10 points earlier in the playoffs.

     The Rockaway Little League is celebrating their 50th anniversary on May 3rd with Opening Day at Fort Tilden. This year, almost 100 boys and girls have registered and 75 teams will play in the following divisions: T-ball-ages 4&5, Peewee Jr.
