FRHS Student’s Art on Display at York College

Far Rockaway High School has its own exhibit at York College. Students from the high school presented a program of Artistic Poetry to an appreciative audience of administrators, teachers, parents and fellow students at York College. Student Tynesha Ellis welcomed everyone and introduced each participant. The program included poetry from a variety of authors and in the second segment, students read their own compositions. Mark Goldberg, representing York College, called the program "one of the best" he has seen. The room was decorated with artwork and poetry that the students had created. Principal Cheryll Jones and Guidance Counselor Richard McAuley complimented the teachers, Virginia McCauley and Annette Michael for a delightful afternoon.

Among the Far Rockaway High School students who were featured in the art display were Evan Williams, Bridgrick Morgan, Naquan Harrell, Diane Delph, Keyahtta Newkirk, Jonathan Lockley and Jonathan Oliver.
