Beach Channel 61 August Martin 60
With 9 seconds left in the fourth quarter, Beach Channel forward Arthur Robertson made two key free throws to defeat divisional rival August Martin. Robertson’s 36 points helped the Dolphins to improve to 4-2 and third place in the Queens A-III division. The 6’3 senior Robertson is averaging 27 points and 13 rebounds per game.
Far Rockaway 79 John Adams 65
Derrick Gabriel once again led the Seahorses with 32 points and 12 assists to beat divisional rival John Adams. The Seahorses improved to 9-3 overall and 5-1 in Queens A-III. Gabriel leads the PSAL with 13 assists a game and is averaging 26 points a game. Chris Howard scored 21 points and Dexter Geohagan added 20.
Beach Channel 81 Springfield Gardens 13
Beach Channel destroyed division rival Springfield Gardens (3-4) to improve their record to 6-0 and first place in the Queens I- B division. The Dolphins led 43-9 at halftime and 63-11 at the end of the third quarter. Katreem Palmer leads the team in scoring with 19.4 points a game and 10 rebounds.

The Seahorses continued their strong start with a road victory to improve to 4-1 in Queens I-B. They have equaled their win total in the division from last season. Shamar Stewartson was the leading scorer with 14 points. Savona McGhie and Naiyma Reed leads the team in scoring with 12 points and 11 points respectively.
Beach Channel 47 Jamaica 36
Yegor Matsekha, Anthony Velez, Nicole Pierce and Soslan Dambegov finished first in the 200-yard medley to give Beach Channel their second win of the season.
Far Rockaway 43 Jamaica 42
Far Rockaway squeaked out of a close victory as Juan Ayala, Kalvin Rodenzo, Emmanuel Jean Pierre and Ryan Parkes won the 200-yard medley. The 200-yard medley win gave the Seahorses their first victory of the season.
Beach Channel’s Lemont Attles finished in fourth place in the Varsity Race 1 Event at the Night at the Sprints-Armory Event at the Armory center on December 12. Kevin O’ Connor finished 26th in the Varsity race 1 event. Najette Miller finished 18th and Noureli Ajana finished 26th in the Women’s Varsity 1 Race.
Far Rockaway is in fourth place in the Manhattan/Bronx/Queens Division with a 1-2 record and 7 points. Far Rockaway’s victory came over Truman High school by the score of 30-18. Horace Kelly, Ronald Aponte, Lawrence Whitehead, Andre Green and Nevon Coats got the victories for the Seahorses.
