PHC Names Briss VP for Nursing


The Peninsula Hospital Center Auxiliary welcomed Georgia Briss, RN, Vice President for Nursing and Chief Nurse Executive at Peninsula Hospital Center.  Briss discussed her role as Vice President and  presented the new goals of the Division of Nursing.  “We work most efficiently and effectively when we function as a team,” stated Ms. Briss.  She mentioned that the goals included improved appearance, attitude and teamwork. The next PHC Auxiliary meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 2 at Noon in the Meditation Room and will feature a presentation on the PHC’s new designation as an official Stroke Center by David G. Steiner, MD, Chief of Neurology and Director of the Stroke Center at PHC.  All interested parties are welcome to attend each luncheon and encouraged to join the Auxiliary.
