Rockaway Youth Lacrosse Braves Frigid Temperatures

Rockaway Youth Lacrosse Braves Frigid Temperatures

A record number turned out for this past Sunday’s Lacrosse Clinic even in
the low 30-degree temperatures to complete the fall season. Based upon the popularity and commitment of our young players, we have formed a team of 14 boys. They will be headed for
Oceanside to compete in the Winter Long Island Indoor Lacrosse League after attendance at a five week instructional period provided by the former head coach of the Boston College Lacrosse team, Brooks Sweet. There the kids will learn the skills necessary to participate in this fast moving sport.

The Sunday clinics will continue at Beach Channel High School, weather
permitting. We are still recruiting new players in age groups 7 to 12, so
grab your stick and come down to the field on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. and prepare to have some "FUN".
