The Rockaway Ravens (Pee Wees) blew out the Brooklyn Panthers 50-0 last Saturday. The Ravens started out on a mission. Setting it off for the Ravens was #11 Laquan Miles, who scored a touchdown in the first quarter in the first quarter that started off a chain reaction. #12 Quarterback Justin Brooks scored a touchdown and also threw a beautiful pass to #34 Devonne Torres to complete a sweet touchdown.

That wasn’t the end of the scoring for the Ravens. #11 Laquan Miles still had the touch as he scored 3 more touchdowns. #22 Terrell Trip scored a touchdown and then went on to intercept a pass by the Panthers to keep them at zero points. The 2-point conversions were scored by #45 Isaiah Robinson and #13 Ollie Robinson.

All the Ravens teams are having a great season. Coach Mark’s Midgets also won last Saturday. Coach Tim contributed to their early start this summer. Along with Coaches Mark, Deter and Jay, the foundation has been laid down for a great team.

During Homecoming Day, the organization will be looking for support and donations. The Rockaway Ravens are a non-profit organization in the Warner Football Conference that gives the children of Rockaway a chance to play the game they love. The football teams show up ready to play for all games, which show their heart and their character. Donations will be accepted to help purchase uniforms, equipment and funds to help for transportation to away games. Any donation will help the kids continue to play football.
