I would like to thank hose who deserve praise. Mrs. Fern Zagor, executive director of PRYSE (Project in the Rockaways for Youth in Safety and Education), Laura Kraft, project coordinator and along with Police Officer Fred Brooks (PAL-Police Athletic League Coordinator) have been working diligently regarding numerous health issues that concern the Rockaway.

In the near future, people will be getting info regarding community recreation and what the various groups are doing to create a clear and pleasant vision for the youth of the Rockaways. Keep your eyes and ears open.

Recently, we have five teams playing flag football every Saturday at Beach Channel High School. All are welcome to attend and can register for spring flag football. This is the standing as of the third week: Ocean Village, 3-0, 90th Street Patriots, 2-1, Wavecrest Steelers, 1-2, Bay Towers Dolphins, 0-3.
