Candidate Brown Against JFK Expansion

City Council candidate Everly Brown has challenged Congressman Gregory Meeks about JFK Expansion. Brown does not believe that people of Southeast Queens and Far Rockaway benefit through increase job opportunities.

"The economic improvement of our lower income working families would be far better served by a lowering of the property tax to help keep businesses her in Queens and the rest of the city," says Brown. "We do not need any more airplane noise and pollution."

Brown ultimately thinks that traffic congestion and pollution will increase while the quality of life will suffer.

"It sounds like a snow job to me."
