Chamber Seeks Information On Locals Lost 9/11 By Howard Schwach

The Rockaway Chamber of Commerce, the prime sponsor of the Tribute Park that will open in late October at Beach Channel Drive and Beach 116 Street, is seeking information on a number of people who appear on the list of those who were lost on September 11, 2001 at the World Trade Center.

The name of each local person lost that day will be etched in a star that will be placed in a glass cupola that is being designed by artist Patrick Clark.

The Chamber, in an attempt to validate all of the names that will appear in the tribute one last time, has asked that anybody with information on any of the following people contact the chamber’s Rockaway Park office.

The list of names includes:

Ezra Aviles

Pamela Boyce

Liam Callahan

Mark Gilles

Manuel Molina

Brian Monaghan

Nancy Morgenstern

Dennis Mulligan

Tommy Palazzo

Linda Rivera

Mark Schwartz

Anybody with information on any of those deceased should contact the Rockaway Chamber of Commerce at 718-634-1300 or by Email at Rockaway
