The New York Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (NYAHSA) recently named Betty Fernandez, long-time recreational aide for the Adult Day Heath Care Center at Peninsula Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation (PCECR), its 2003 Long Term Care Employee of Distinction. A reception was held in her honor at the Adult Day Care Health Center, where Carl Young, President of NYAHSA, presented her with an award Betty Fernandez has been an employee at Peninsula Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation for 25 years. Betty Fernandez, Recreational Aide at Peninsula Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation (PCECR) received the 2003 Employee of Distinction Award from the New York Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (NYAHSA).
