New Youth Club Mural Is ‘Dreamy’


This “dream sequence” mural that will soon hang outside the Madison Boy’s and Girl’s Club in Far Rockaway was unveiled last Friday. The thematic mural depicts people learning, working in civil service and medicine, participating in athletics and even contains the image of the Twin Towers. Local artist Leigh Walls designed the five-panel mural based on the original work of MS 198 student Michael Blamo.This “dream sequence” mural that will soon hang outside the Madison Boy’s and Girl’s Club in Far Rockaway was unveiled last Friday.
