By the time you read this article our Par Tee Gals would have completed their regular golf season.  We will have our Tournament on two Thursdays, Aug. 28 and Sept. 4.  This is a great opportunity to improve your score second time around!  Well maybe not!  This is a change from a previous announcement that we would have a Scramble on Sept. 4th.  No Lunch will follow play on Aug. 28 and Sept. 4. 

The top scores for Aug. 14th are as follows: Nancy Heffernan and Meg Ferrick-62 with Meg having a birdie on # 17 and Nancy with a birdie on # 5, Lyn Canavan and Barbara Caramelli-64, Eileen Watson-65 with a birdie on # 2, Pam Armour-66, Mildred Seligman-68 with a chip-in on # 18.  Scores in the 70’s; Peg Ansbro-70 with a chip-in birdie on #18, Janice Murphy and Linda Strong-71, Gail Clifford, Joan McNally, Chris Reass and June Moran-73 with Chris a birdie on # 11 and June a chip-in on # 17,  Mary O’Rourke and Annette Deschler-75,  Dotty Dunne and Rita Florio-77  with Dotty having a chip-in birdie on # 4,  Bunny Ganun-78 with a birdie on # 5, Pat Disch-79 with a birdie on # 14. Bernice Carroll birdied # 5 and chip-in birdies are credited to Marilyn Higgins on # 9 and Kathy McDonald on # 1. On Aug. 13th Sixteen of our Par Tee Ladies enjoyed the Men’s Guys and Dolls Tournament and Luncheon that followed at the Catholic Club. 

The winners for the day were: 1st Place - - Alan Hogan, Eileen Watson, Doris and Al Neimeth with a score of 45 (could this be the best score ever??) the team had 10 birdies and 8 pars. Eileen Watson had three closest to the pin awards and Joan McNally had the other closet to the pin award. Other Par Tee gals in the winning groups were Ann Powers, Pam Armour, Peggy Ansbro, Joan McNally, Peggy Wheeler and Dotty Dunne. 

Our end of the year luncheon will be held Fri. Sept. 12th at the Silver Gull, The price is $22.00 with a choice of chicken or salmon. So make your reservation with Bernice as soon as possible. Good Luck to All in our Two Day Tournament.
