What’s Happening This Week In Rockaway Sports
The BCAC football program has begun practicing for the up coming 2003 season. There are still some openings in some age groups. Any child wishing to play football for the Shamrocks should contact the BCAC at (718) 318 0600 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also visit our new website at www.broadchannelac.com. Practices are held every Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6 PM at the Day Camp facility directly adjacent to the bridge. The divisions are Peanuts 5 & 6 Pee-Wees 7 & 8 Midgets 9 & 10 Ponies 11 & 12 and Seniors 13 & 14. registration fee is $100.00 and each player will get all the equipment necessary to play. They also get to keep their uniform jersey.
The Nickelodeon Sports Foundation Inc. will be hosting their annual IronMan Full Court Basketball Tournament. The program will continue on the weekends until September 20-21. The 2-day B-ball tournaments will consist of divisions with different age brackets. The tournament is open to boys, girls, men and women. There will be a Youth Division consisting of subdivisions of 13-under, 17-under, and 18-under. The games will be full court competition.

Blue Jays Baseball Tryouts
The Blue Jays Baseball Organization will be holding tournaments near the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown for summer teams ages 13-18 on selected dates from August 3rd to August 12th, 2003.
