PHC Auxiliary Discusses Foot Care


The Peninsula Hospital Auxiliary welcomed Michael D. Barkin, DPM, Director, Podiatric Medical Educa­tion at PHC (center), to their luncheon meeting to discuss proper summer foot care. The Peninsula Hospital Center Auxiliary welcomed Dr. Michael Barkin, Director of Podiatric Medical Education at PHC to a recent luncheon meeting.

Dr. Barkin discussed proper foot care in the summer months. He stressed the importance of using proper footwear for particular activities such as walking, running and playing sports. The members of the PHC Auxiliary also put on a "Hat Fashion Show" for residents of the Peninsula Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation. The show featured hats from all eras in American history

The next PHC Auxiliary meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 2 at Noon in the Meditation Room. All interested parties are welcome to attend each luncheon and encouraged to join the Auxiliary.
