Peninsula Hospital Center Auxiliaries Merge

Commissioner Joel A. Miele Sr., P.E., Chairman, Board of Directors of Peninsula Hospital Center (PHC), recently announced the merger of the Five Towns Auxiliary and the West End Auxiliary. The Auxiliary’s support is invaluable to the hospital center," states Commissioner Miele. "They help in so many areas of the hospital such as fundraising, support if the Visitor Information Center, and hosting informational and educational programs."

Anne F. Levine and Sheila Schwartz were appointed Presidium of the new auxiliary. The Auxiliary meets the first Tuesday of every month in the Meditation Room, which is located in the Rehabilitation Division. The auxiliary welcomes everyone to attend their informational luncheons and invite all to join the auxiliary.

Officers of the new PHC Auxiliary have been appointed. The officers are: Patte Bogen Roberts, President Emeritus; Peggy DeMatties, Vice President, Membership; Joan Ryan, Vice President, Fundraising; Rose Marie Curley, Treasurer; Helen Herman and Pearl Ribet, Financial Secretaries; Anne F. Levine, Social Secretary; and Emily Cennamo, Recording Secretary. Other members of the Board are Lillian Burgeman, Barbara Eisenstadt, Sally Imperato, Selma Kaplan, Ruth Kogut, Aleaze Logan, Lois Mayer, Nadia Murphy, Sylvia Rogoff, Nancy Vardakis, and Maureen Walsh.
