BCAC Begins 2003 Football Practice

BCAC Begins 2003 Football Practice

The BCAC football program has begun practicing for the up coming 2003 season. There are still some openings in some age groups. Any child wishing to play football for the Shamrocks should contact the BCAC at (718 318 0600 or email us at bcacwebsite@aol.com. You can also visit our new website at www.broadchannelac.com.

Practices are held every Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6 PM at the Day Camp facility directly adjacent to the bridge. The divisions are Peanuts 5 & 6 Pee-Wees 7 & 8 Midgets 9 & 10 Ponies 11 & 12 and Seniors 13 & 14. registration fee is $100.00 and each player will get all the equipment necessary to play. They also get to keep their uniform jersey.

The Shamrock football program has come a long way in the last 7 seasons. We have been in 5 championship games and have won 2 of them. The Shamrock program can dominate the Nassau Suffolk Football League. We have great coaches and some outstanding players. There is so much athletic talent in Broad Channel and Rockaway and if the two communities teamed up, there is no telling how great the program can be. The season is over by Thanksgiving so anyone that plays basketball can move right into the CYO basketball season, the two sports do not overlap. So if you want to play some football come down to the field and sign up for one of the teams.
