Family Literacy Programs Wanted

The Department of Youth and Community Development is looking for qualified organizations to develop and operate family literacy programs.

These programs are aimed at helping parents and children move towards various means of self sufficiency through increasing their education.

Requests for Proposals are available for pickup every business day from 9am-5pm at the 156 William Street office of Contract Procurement. A pre-proposal conference will be held on July 14, from 2pm to 4pm at the Municipal Building, Mezzanine North, at one Centre Street North.

Completed proposals should be sent to Patricia A. Chabia, Agency Chief Contracting Officer, at 156 William Street 2nd Floor, New York, NY, 10038.

State Senator Malcom A. Smith (D-Queens) is involved with the project.
