The event will begin with "Shack Attack" at the 117th Lifeguard shack, where a live band will perform while volunteers help repaint the shack.

At 4:30 Safewise Kids sponsored by Allstate, will provide a free children’s photo identification program, at the boardwalk on Beach 116th Street.

At 6:00 the event will continue at the Beach Club complete with a D.J., live musical entertainment, a magician, games, rides, raffles, vendors, classic cars, food and beverages, and most importantly, NYCPD and NYCFD special units safety and crime prevention information.

The occasion will conclude with a Fireworks display at 9:00 P.M. on the beach at 116th street.

Everyone is welcome to come and participate and help the 100th precinct give crime a "Going Away Party."
