The Auxiliary Summer detail for the 100 precinct in the Rockaways started June 5 and will continue until Aug­ust 31. The Auxiliary Officers walk the boardwalk to help keep the community safe. To date they have had more than sixty auxiliary officers from the Patrol Boro Queens South Auxiliary Program volunteering their time in Rock­away. The Que­ens South Boro Co­ordinator P.O. Ricky Mango turning out the auxiliary officers for patrol on June 6.
