Local Lawyer Welcomed to Rockaway Firm
Christine Gray Ferazani has come home to Rockaway.
The former Bronx Assistant District Attorney has joined the local law firm of Trainor & Seplow, PC, located on Beach 116 Street in Rockaway Park.
A lifelong resident of Rockaway, she attended grammar school at St. Rose of Lima, and High School at Stella Maris. She received her undergraduate degree from Fordham University, and later attended Brooklyn Law.
Although Ferazani has been working in the Bronx for the last several years, she is attuned to working within a community.
While working with the Bronx District Attorney, Christine was his representative to the 50 Precinct Community Council. This position offered her ample opportunity to become involved in local community affairs. She participated in an Explorers Club, mentoring high school students, and was also involved in career days at Stella Maris High School.
Chistine’s mother Pat O’Connor and father John Gray, a retired NYC police lieutenant, also grew up in Rockaway.
Currently, Christine lives in Belle Harbor with her husband Larry Ferazani of Boston Massachusetts, an attorney and F.B.I. agent. They met while Christine was working in Bronx County, where she worked as a prosecutor for seven years.
More time with her family, was the major reason Christine gives for working closer to home. With the addition of her new daughter, Molly Elizabeth, Christine decided to put family first and her new position with Trainor & Seplow allows her to do just that.
"I’m very happy to be back home in Rockaway," beamed Christine, exhibiting her enthusiasm to be working close to home.
