Erin On The Rox

This weekend the band "Whole in One" headed by Roxbury’s own Ricky Diffendale played their first show in almost a year at t he Roxbury Barn. Ricky and the other of the band John and Ralph played a really great show of covers and their own songs. "The Red", by Chevelle was a highlight for me. Ralph, the newest member of the band, showed off his drumming skills when Ricky put him on the spot to play a drum solo. He did not disappoint us. The next scheduled show is for September 13 at L’Amour in Brooklyn.

On Tuesday, July 15, the Junior Softball league starts for the guys that could not play in Little League anymore. In Roxbury tradition they picked very creative names for the two teams that will be playing: The Whoops and The Loogies.

Happy Birthday to Peggy Baumann ~ July 16. On Saturday July 12, family and friends surprised Peggy when they threw her a thirtieth birthday party. It was a lot of fun especially when I talked to Bill about Pearl Jam and watched Brody try and eat bubbles.
