Are you "Nuts About Pecans?" Have you listened to "Strawberry Fields," and forever wondered what they taste like? Are you curious to see what a sugar cone of "Moose Tracks" is like? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, or if you love the traditional frozen flavors, you should know there’s a new scoop shop in Rockaway—Sweetie’s Ice Cream Panic.

The name of the shop is as different as the ice cream flavors it serves. Owner Bill Plock calls his wife Shelley "Sweetie," and since the store serves up sweet treats—he says it seemed like a perfect fit. As for the ‘Panic’ part, Shelley works with the Panic and Anxiety Connection website (www.PACConnection.com) that helps people with anxiety.

Sweetie’s Ice Cream Panic serves up sugar free and low fat snacks that will satisfy your cravings, Plock said. They also have Italian Ices, coffees, rolls, bagels, and Danish—making it a fun stop at any time. So if you get the urge for something sweet, don’t panic, go to Sweetie’s.
