hanks to Robert Biggert, of Rockaway Park, Historical Views presents four antique picture postcards from the days of yore. Card #1 – an 1897 view of Seaside, with the Rockaway pin-up of the day. Card #2 – Holland dock in 1918. this is the present Beach 92 Street. The land was filled in about 1922, leaving clubs high and dry. Card #3 – These first bungalows were built on Beach 108 Street in about 1914. Some are still standing.
