Long live the Queen!….. of England that is, who recently celebrated the 50th Anniversary of her Coronation..

A New York Celebration was held at the Racquet & Tennis Club with a fund raising silent auction. The Earl if Lichfield, the Queen’s favorite photographer who took the most stirring photos of the Queen and her family so visible on the walls, was the featured speaker. He brought us back in time when he first met the Queen in her palace and presented himself in tattered clothes. His dress was simply and graciously ignored, he said

and they made him feel warmly welcomed and at ease. If only all of us could do that. Look beyond the tattered clothes and see the real person. Of course now he feels as if he is a member of the Royal family. And, I am sure he is.

The ASPCA and Elle Magazine joined in the Summer Opening of the fine of the finest gold, diamond and gem stone sparkling jewelry at Di Modola on Madison Ave.. The gorgeous long stemmed models of Elle Magazine weaved through the admiring guests as they sipped champagne; nibbled finger food and ogled at the beautiful elegant 18 karat gold, diamond and gemstone bracelets, necklaces and rings. Among all of this were the most adorable, want to take home, under a year old puppies from the ASPCA adoption center They, of course, grew great attention as well and hopefully found a new home.
