St Francis de Sales Church on Beach 129 Street in Belle Harbor is building a Prayer Garden on an empty site across from the church playground. Monsignor Martin Geraghty told The Wave that the garden would include trees, a fence and religious statuary. The church’s pastor says that it is "a work in progress," and is unsure of when it will be completed because the city’s street work in the area has delayed the project.
