Deteriorating Infrastructure Marks Riis Park Riis Park has long been one of the stars of the National Park Service’s Gateway National Recreation Center. Of late, however, many say, it has become a fading star. These pictures, which were supplied to The Wave by a local resident who regularly uses the park, show some of the infrastructure problems faced by the park.
