Weiner: Table The Road Map
Last Monday saw the fifth suicide bombing in Israel since Saturday. Representative Anthony Weiner, a vocal critic of the timing of the so-called "road map" to peace, issued the following statement:
"The blood soaked events of the past thirty six hours show that the terrorists are still in control of the Palestinian Authority. Obviously, no effective crack down on terror has occurred.
"Violence remains the foremost roadblock on the road map to peace. It should be tabled until the violence ends."
